Edited by Mike SE IL 02:30 I'll say "Wait just a second" and start turning it off and then she is offended and quits talking. But as soon as I stream the TV audio to my hearing aids she starts talking. I can sit there for an hour and she won't say a word. But what the audio streaming does is cause your wife to start talking to you. And I can turn off the speakers and watch TV without bothering anyone.
For instance a "car" favorite setting that turns down the left side and turns up the right and changes the tone response, which make it easier to hear the passenger when I'm driving. Works great! I have some favorite custom settings programmed in.
John, that is the app I use to control my ear pieces. Posted 02:26 (#4827293 - in reply to #4827287) Subject: RE: need help with ReSound hearing aids In fact I don't use the TV gadget very much because it tends to dominate what I hear and I can miss a call to supper or worse.
#Resound app turns off Bluetooth
I too have a Bluetooth thing for our TV that goes to my hearing aids but it is not as fancy as yours with an Apple App. You may even find a You-Tube video to help you with your situation. I have found that one can often find info and help if you simply go to and type in your problem or situation. Check this link and look at the "program" button over on the right side of the page. It sounds like your hearing aids are switching sources of Bluetooth signals. I plan on seeing my specialist as soon as I get a break, but that may be a week or more.
